Team Tinybill is looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Community Manager to help oversee The Tinyverse, our official Discord community!

As Community Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping our community welcoming, informed and engaged. You'll act as a bridge between our members and The Tinyboard (our leadership team), ensuring that questions, concerns and suggestions are communicated effectively.

This is a volunteer position, ideal for someone passionate about community management, indie games and helping build a positive online environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Discord Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of The Tinyverse, ensuring channels remain organised, welcoming and active.
• Announcements & Updates: Prepare, schedule and publish community announcements, including game updates, events and important studio news.
• Support Tickets: Monitor and respond to Discord support tickets, assisting members with questions, concerns and general enquiries.
• Leadership Communication: Work closely with The Tinyboard to escalate important matters, seek clarification and communicate community feedback.
• Community Engagement: Encourage conversations, support community activities and help maintain a friendly atmosphere.
• Moderation Support: Work alongside moderators to ensure community guidelines are followed and issues are handled appropriately.
• Feedback & Suggestions: Gather community feedback and share relevant suggestions with the leadership team.

What We're Looking For

• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Discord, including channels, roles, permissions and ticket systems.
• A friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries.
• Confidence communicating with both community members and studio leadership.
• An interest in indie games, visual novels and online communities.
• Previous community management or moderation experience is appreciated, but not essential.
