Whether it's a heartwarming romance, a bittersweet coming-of-age story, a yuri adventure, an otome experience, or a narrative that explores friendship and personal growth, First Love exists to celebrate the stories that stay with us long after we've finished reading.

OUR STORY
First Love Visual Novel Festival originally began under the working title New Game+.
The initial concept was broad, aiming to showcase a wide range of indie visual novels and interactive narrative experiences. However, as planning progressed, it became clear that the stories we were most passionate about sharing had something in common: strong characters, emotional journeys, and the relationships that drive them.
Rather than trying to cover every corner of the visual novel genre, we decided to focus on the experiences that visual novels often do best—stories about connection.
This led to the creation of First Love Visual Novel Festival, a new identity built around romance-focused and story-rich visual novels. The name reflects the emotions, memories, and personal journeys that many of these games explore. It represents not only romantic first loves, but also first friendships, first heartbreaks, first discoveries, and the moments that shape who we become.
