Building the Future of Team Tinybill

When we founded Studio Z in October 2024, the goal was never to chase trends or build something disposable.

It was to build stories that mattered.

Since then, that vision has evolved into Team Tinybill — a rebrand that reflects not just growth, but scale, ambition, and the long-term future of this studio.

Over the past year, we have:

  • Released The Cooking Club

  • Begun development on multiple follow-up projects

  • Funded CG expansions through community support

  • Invested heavily into art, music, voice acting, and infrastructure

  • Launched physical merchandise collections

And while we are incredibly proud of what we’ve built, we want to speak honestly.

Being an independent studio is expensive.

Over time, we have operated at a heavier loss than profit. Between commissioning artists, paying composers, covering platform fees, marketing costs, merchandise production, and general development overhead — the numbers add up quickly.

We are not a large publisher.

We are not backed by corporate funding.

We are an independent creative team building from the ground up.

That reality is exciting — but it is also intimidating.

We are launching our Patreon soon to create more consistent, community-driven support. We are expanding our merchandise collections to generate additional revenue streams.

We are continuing to release projects we truly believe in.

But to take the next step sustainably, we are exploring something new.

Seeking Strategic Support & Investment

We are opening discussions for individuals who may be interested in supporting Team Tinybill through private investment.

This is not a traditional corporate investor call.

We cannot offer large financial returns or guaranteed dividends. That is not where we are as a studio. What we can offer is involvement, transparency, and a seat at the table as we grow.

Those who invest would be invited to join a small committee board — a creative advisory group that:

  • Receives early project pitches and roadmaps

  • Contributes feedback on creative direction

  • Helps vote on select strategic decisions

  • Receives full transparency reports on studio development

  • Receives free merchandise and studio perks

  • Is credited as a supporter of Team Tinybill

We are looking for individuals who believe in long-term independent storytelling. People who understand that growth takes time — but also understand that early support can shape something meaningful.

This is about building something sustainable.

Not just for one game.

Not just for one year.

But for the future of Team Tinybill as a studio.

Why This Matters

Indie studios close every single year.

Not because the passion isn’t there.

Not because the audience isn’t there.

But because sustainability is difficult.

We want to continue developing:

  • The final chapter of The Cooking Club

  • Static Hearts

  • The Bunker

  • Future Tinybill originals

We want to continue paying our collaborators and artists fairly.

We want to expand responsibly.

We want to grow without compromising our creative identity.

And doing that requires support beyond short-term launches and kickstarter campaigns that are a "make or break".

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — through purchases, crowdfunding, kind words, and community presence.

Team Tinybill exists because of you.

And we intend to make sure it continues to exist for years to come.
